Eventival’s connection with the performing arts began almost by accident.

Early in our history, a member of a festival team moved from film into theatre and recognized that many of the challenges were remarkably similar: managing submissions, participants, invitations, schedules, hospitality, logistics and communication. We began exploring how Eventival could support a theatre festival, but as the platform grew rapidly within the audiovisual world, the collaboration gradually faded.

Years later, the same story repeated itself. Someone who had used Eventival at a large and demanding film festival joined a theatre festival and encountered many of the same operational difficulties. They reached out to us with a simple question: could Eventival work for theatre as well?

It could.

Today, Eventival supports theatre festivals and performing arts organizations including Nová Síť, Malá inventura, REGIONY and the Prague Quadrennial. They use the platform to manage applications, programme participants, invitations, hospitality, logistics and the many relationships that bring a live event together.

Their needs are not identical to those of film festivals, but the underlying complexity is familiar. Together with these organizations, we are refining Eventival for theatre and live performance—not by building a separate product, but by extending a platform that was already designed to connect people, works, venues and events.
